If you've seen a gorgeous pair of shoes with a bright red sole, you've probably just been Louboutin-ed. Christian Louboutin is a french designer known for his high-end, high-fashion shoes complete with a signature red sole. So when the unavoidable red sole catches your eye, you know it's Louboutin.


So what happens when another company starts throwing the red soles on their shoes? A lawsuit of course. Fashion powerhouse Yves Saint Laurent began manufacturing shoes with the same coloured sole and so followed the lawsuit.
